These creams may contain antimicrobials, antibiotics, retinoids (vitamin A derivatives) as well as salicylic acid (beta-hydroxy acid), glycolic acid (alpha-hydroxy acid), sulphur and nicotinamide (Vitamin B3).

Mole Examination – Dermascope

Keeping track of moles can be a lifesaving decision – particularly, if you have a history of skin cancer linked to moles.

Contact our office and Dr Olivier will look for any suspicious changes in your moles when you have a skin examination.

Your age, sex and when the mole appeared will be taken into consideration.

Mole Mapping – (New)

Mole mapping is a screening technique aimed at early detection of skin cancer. It utilizes advanced computer technology to capture comprehensive photographs of your entire body, which are then merged to create a unified image. This baseline image serves as a reference for future comparisons.

During subsequent follow-up visits, typically scheduled annually, a new set of whole body photographs is taken using the same specialized computer system. Artificial intelligence algorithms within the computer analyze and compare the images, identifying which moles and lesions remain consistent, which are new, and which exhibit changes over time. This enables you to monitor and track any suspicious developments year after year.

Dr. Olivier makes use of the Fotofinder, which is the international gold standard machine.

Micro Needling

Micro needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a procedure that uses small needles to gently prick the surface of your skin.

This procedure promotes the generation of new collagen and skin tissue. Once you have completed this process, you will experience a smoother, firmer, and toned skin surface.

Contrary to popular belief, anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation treatments are not solely designed for seniors.

Anti-ageing treatments focus on treating minor skin damage and promoting a more youthful and vibrant looking skin.

Whether it is fine lines that concern you or you want to maintain your vibrant skin, there are treatments available at Mediderm.

Minor skin tumours treatments may include:

Curettage and electrodesiccation: This procedure involves scraping away the tumour tissues (used to treat pre-cancerous tumours).
